yes as a young man on 20 out witnessing with the special pioneers one brother said his bible study wasn't home...."oh that sucks" said i......well, you would have thought i said "that sucks balls" three pioneers completely freak out and as a "trinity" start telling me off...i didn't think it was a swear word....anyone else?.
once the c.o used the term "peeved off" during his talk...well, everyone did research on the word to see if it was the same as "pissed off.

ROFL!! That's one I've forgotten - we are supposed to call it the INFORMATION BOARD - and why?! I have no idea. I just remember calling it a bulletin board and someone corrected me and said I shouldn't call it that
interesting experience the other day.
my mother's in a residential home and one of her fellow residents is a dub with early stage dementia.. the carers at the home had the oldies all making christmas cards and decorations and the poor old dub lady was happily if haplessly involved.
well in walk her dub relatives.
When I started reading your story I was expecting it to end with them freaking out and making a huge scene. Kudos to them for keeping their mouths shut

here's a thought i just had.... there are numerous places in the mags / bks etc where they say they are not inspired, don't claim to be infallible blah blah blah.... but then there's a line in the rev bk or a wt (can't remember which) where they say something to the effect that dead gb members may be 'communicating spiritual truths' to those still on earth.... does anyone remember that line or know what its from?.
that would be a great way to stumble up their pr guy...jr brown.

I actually paid attention to the talk and whether or not they worked on the specific
point.
I wasn't a school overseer but I did this too just to entertain myself in the audience. I would try to see if I could guess what point they were working on. The gestures and voice modulation one was hilarious sometimes because it was SO obvious.

hi all, it's been a while, for most part i'm happy but.
i finally had to send a "i don't want to be a jw anylonger" to the elders, since they were very anxious to talk to me, which i've refused so now my only sister who's still a jw with husband at bethel, told me she won't call or see me anymore.
i've been crying all day.
Newborn - my heart goes out to you. I'm in a similar situation with my family. Just hang in there, it WILL get better
any ideas to make the day go by quicker?.
